Overview
The Bedouin Camp is famous in Katherines for looking after its guests in a friendly and hospitable manner. The Bedouin Camp has been welcoming guests for over 7 years now and this year will see a large upgrade of the facilities as well as a brand new restaurant and relaxation area. Our guests range from overseas travelers coming to hike in the mountains to local Egyptians getting away from the big city of Cairo to groups, couples and passing tourists. All are welcome.
We are proud to announce our new ensuite rooms with fabulous views of the mountains being available as of the beginning of July 2009.

Camp Facilities
The Bedouin camp is not a camp, it's a guesthouse and we pride ourselves on our Bedouin
hospitality. Miriam is your western manager and she ensure the quality of your food, the
cleanliness of your sheets and the temperature of your hot shower! She is supported by
both Bedouin and Egyptian staff who answer your questions on how to organise a hike,
how to get to the monastery and where does the bus leave from to get to Dahab (from
the guesthouse).
If you need help or advice or assistance on anything from travel plans
to food requirements to getting to the camel school on time, then we are there to help;
nothing is too much trouble.
We welcome lone back packers, families from Cairo, tour groups
from Europe and everyone in between. All are very welcome.

Booking a Room
Booking is very simple and can be done in a number of ways .....
1. Send an email to camp@bedouinpaths.com and request a booking providing your name,
number in the group, accommodation type required and how many days you want plus
arrival date. Also state any particulars or queries you have.
2. Call the Bedouin Camp on +20189662010 and ask for Miriam and provide her
with
your booking details.
3. Turn up in Katherine, find the camp and walk in ...
Large Groups (10 or more people)
If you have a particularly large group or special needs then please tell us before hand.
We can provide camping facilities for you if you prefer (especially during the warmer
months when sleeping outside is preferable).
If you need transfers to the Bedouin Camp for a large group then please contact us and we can arrange the transport. Prices upon request.
